I hate the feeling of rushed independence and I hate seeing people go through it! It's tragic how some teens and young adults feel pressured ( not even by family ) to move out when they're not ready bc of the stigma of living w parents :( it leads to so much stress and money troubles. There is no shame in staying if you're not ready!! Putting your mental and physical health second is not the way to go. If you have the option and support, don't be afraid to take your time.
